The C8 Upgraded Axles feature billet chromoly outer CV housings paired with chromoly inner CVs for superior durability and strength. Installing the C8 Upgraded Axles requires specific tools for a precise and secure fit. Recommended tools include a 36mm axle nut socket, an E12 E-Torx socket for the OEM inner stub flange bolts, and a 12mm 12-point socket for the ARP-supplied stub flange bolts. A 10mm socket is also necessary for brake duct and shield bolts. Using various sockets and swivels can facilitate access during installation. The ARP inner stub flange bolts must be torqued to 70 ft-lbs with blue Loctite to ensure optimal fastening and durability.
