The c8 upgraded clutch kit features an 8/9 plate design, increasing friction and steel plates to enhance torque capacity, heat management, and durability. Its upgraded proprietary friction materials offer improved holding power and longevity, making it suitable for intense track use, street driving, and drag-strip launches. Precision CNC-machined billet pressure plates and hubs ensure consistent engagement and reliability. Tested and proven in vehicles exceeding 1,000 horsepower and over 900 lb-ft of torque, this kit delivers expert-level performance for demanding applications.

Professional Installation Recommended: Installing the upgraded Clutch Kit requires removal of the rear subframe and transaxle, with the use of a lift, engine support brace, and specialized DCT clutch service tools strongly recommended. After installation, refill the transmission with OEM-spec DCT fluid such as GM Dexron HP, followed by a full clutch bleed and calibration using GM GDS2 software. A clutch relearn/reset procedure via a GM scan tool or equivalent is essential to restore proper shift logic and engagement. This kit is specifically recommended for built engines or forced induction setups demanding enhanced durability and performance.
