The stock engine in the 2020 and newer Corvette Stingray is impressive, combining lightweight design with strong performance. However, the LT2 engine has its limits. GM maximized the LT2’s output to surpass the C7's LT1, but it remains reliable only up to about 650HP. If you’re considering this upgrade, it’s likely because your vehicle is either equipped with a supercharger or turbocharger while still running a stock engine, or you aim to build a 1000HP C8 without the 650HP cap.
